8/10 isn’t bad so 80% chance we make it back to Omaha

So the only unanimous pick was UCLA? Weak…

You can just throw Sorenson's predictions out. In no way ever will 7 SEC teams make it to Omaha. I suppose it's statistically possible, but it won't happen.

Makes sense though, they were a very sophomore heavy team.

And even lower odds that 7 make it, and none are LSU. WHAT A CLOWN!

He’s probably thinking I may get half the field the more sec I pick
Genius
Still way too early not knowing draft impact on teams and once portal shakes out
One player can tip the scales like eyanson did for lsu

Sorensen should be tossed out of any serious picks. What a clown.

7 SEC teams without LSU is laughable.

He’s not predicting seven SEC teams will make it; he’s saying that seven SEC teams and UCLA have the best odds of making it. None of those ten pickers will be correct on all eight. I’m not defending his picks, which make him seem like an SEC homer, but this isn’t about picking the CWS field; it’s about getting more of them right then the other guys.

On average we will have three SEC teams in the field, and the odds are that he’ll get two or all three of those correct. If UCLA gets in he’ll have three or four of the field picked correctly. That will probably be a solid result. The crafty guess he is making is that LSU will have the championship hangover. Maybe, maybe not, but it’s not a bad bet.

Interesting that only two picked Coastal to make it back there. Sometimes, making it to the title game (or series, in this case) doesn't translate into future success.

I look at LSU's failure in the 2012 title game as something that announced the end of our time as a dominant program (for the time being).

I kinda think of Coastal's loss in the same way. It was just ugly. "Not a whole lot" is going to stick to them.

You mean 2017 title game failure.

Paul napped after the title and let us dip in 10 and 11, then ran up a nice run 12-17 outside of the Stony brook and Houston disasters.

Then he nose divided us again 18-21, the loss to FSU with them having one threat and us continuing to pitch to him was insane plus going two years with no lefties
