“Field of Dreams”.

Brings out the sap in me every time. Particularly that one line:

“Hey Dad…ya wanna have a catch?”

Hah. Before I clicked the thread I immediately thought “Field of Dreams.”

I’ll add My Girl. My wife is a decade younger than me so this one wasn’t on her radar as a kid. I suggested we watch it one time. She cried so hard and she asked why I would even do that to her.

My nephew/godson looked just like Macaulay Culkin when he was a kid. The death scene really set me off, too.

I’ll be honest…this dumb “Nonnas” movie on Netflix with Vince Vaughn and half of the Sopranos cast got me several times

Watching Top Gun Maverick tonight (for the 12th time) with my son, when Mav tells Rooster at the very end "Thank you for saving my life," and Rooster responds "It's what my Dad would have done" ... my entire childhood flashed in front of me, and there was my son sitting next to me ... wow ...

About Time. Movie made me ball my eyes out. There's no way I could watch that movie again now that my dad has passed.

That's the scene. Just came out of nowhere. Caught me completely off guard because up until then it had been just a fun rom com.
