Deep funding cuts to the U.S. Agency for International Development and its potential dismantling could result in more than 14 million additional deaths by 2030, according to research published in The Lancet medical journal on Monday.

quote:

The study estimated that over the past two decades, USAID-funded programs have prevented more than 91 million deaths globally, including 30 million deaths among children.

Projections suggest that ongoing deep funding cuts - combined with the potential dismantling of the agency - could result in more than 14 million additional deaths by 2030, including 4.5 million deaths among children younger than 5 years, the study in The Lancet said.

Washington is the world's largest humanitarian aid donor, amounting to at least 38% of all contributions recorded by the United Nations. It disbursed $61 billion in foreign assistance last year, just over half of it via USAID, according to government data

It sounds like other countries need to step up.

Someone having 20 kids, sexually transmitted diseases, and all sorts of other shite is not a personal problem for me. And as they are not US citizens, it is not a US problem either.

Hopefully their own government is able to help

Bono in near tears today while addressing the USAID group.

That MF's One Charity gives 1% out to the needy. The other is for salaries.
---

"He jokingly hailed the USAID staffers as “secret agents of international development” in acknowledgment of the down-low nature of Monday’s unofficial gathering of the USAID community.

Bono spoke passionately as he recited a poem he had written to the agency and its gutting. He spoke of children dying of malnutrition, in a reference to people — millions, experts have said — who will die because of the U.S cuts to funding for health and other programs abroad.

“They called you crooks. When you were the best of us,” Bono said.

Seems like the WEF would be happy with this....if they really believed it.

A lot of this is bullshite projected HIV deaths.

Well, we’ve known what causes aids for over 40 years. You don’t need international aid to keep you from rawdogging a man or a woman.

China finances our debt. Which means, by definition, they are much wealthier than America.

Why don't these globalist scumbags ever look to China to fund their pet projects? Is it because they know China is too smart to be the world's ATM machine?

As a Christian, I hate to see this. We are all God's children and it doesn't cost the US much to make the world a better place. How shameful.

The government doesn't have money. It's only able to steal from one person and give it to another by use of force and the threat of imprisonment/death.

What you are talking about is actually coveting your neighbors house, and is a sin.
