WHITE CASTLE — Nottoway is hiring. Less than two months after a devastating fire reduced the South’s largest antebellum mansion to a smoldering memory, there is still no cause to the fire that the feds are now investigating. Yet, signs of rebirth are emerging.

Randolph’s Restaurant..... will reopen and is actively seeking staff. Executive Chef Matthew Morgan is leading the effort to revive the kitchen, calling on experienced servers and cooks to help bring the restaurant back to life.

The restaurant is now accepting reservations, and guided tours have resumed for $15 per person. Despite the ash and uncertainty, a determined community is working to restore what it can—and redefine what Nottoway will mean in this next chapter.

I'm surprised that some far left libtards didn't take credit for burning it down (even if they didn't).

I can applaud the attitude of wanting to persevere, but this just seems silly at this point.

It’s a relic of the past. It burned to the ground like it should have hundreds of years ago.

If they are going to bring it back, at least do it right and leave no stone unturned on how it was a place of despicable and heinous human/child torture, murder, rape, and mutilation. History shall not be repeated so we have to reinforce that to every visitor (if it is rebuilt)

I don't get why people think it isn't weird to have weddings at plantations.

We don’t need to, we’ll let time, evolution and forward progress deal with it. Something the right thinks they can beat - time and progress. Hubris i tell you.

A battle man has lost for as long as his existence.

Exactly why would I want to commence my marriage where a child was mutilated and raped?

Sick and deranged culture if you ask me. Very very weird.

You put up a statue of a fent-head that once robbed a pregnant lady at gunpoint. Why if I saw the statue wouldn’t I want to destroy it?

Tell that to the almost-all-black town that lost their only tourist attraction, white guilt bitch.

It’s a beautiful location with well manicured lawns and beautiful landscaping. Not everything has to be that deep. Quit looking for a way to be a victim. That shite is over, haven’t you heard?

Do you think the whole French Quarter of New Orleans should be bulldozed or at least ban any frivolity of any kind in it?
