More than 500 influential directors, actors and other notable names in Hollywood and around the world voted on the best films released since Jan. 1, 2000. Here is how their ballots stacked up.

Between streaming services and superhero blockbusters, the way we watch and think about movies has changed dramatically over the past 25 years. But through that period of upheaval, which films have truly stood the test of time?
To find out, we embarked on an ambitious new project, polling more than 500 filmmakers, stars and influential film fans to vote for the 10 best movies (however they chose to define that) released since Jan. 1, 2000. In collaboration with The Upshot, we compiled their responses to create a list of the 100 best movies of the 21st century.
Voters included Oscar-winning directors like Pedro Almodóvar, Sofia Coppola, Barry Jenkins and Guillermo del Toro, as well as acclaimed actors like Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mikey Madison, John Turturro and Julianne Moore. Now you can finally see No. 20-1. Enjoy!

I dont get the love for Get Out.
When I walked out of the theater I said to my wife how weird that was.
It was fine...................but good lord is it over rated.
On all these 10 lists for horror and overall movies.

Zodiac deserves an upgrade to top 10.

Eh, everyone gonna quibble with something on there. I still think Pan's Labyrinth is the best movie I've seen this century, so I would've liked to see it higher. Gladiator and Ocean 11 don't belong on that list at all, imo. Fine movies, but not top 100 for the century.

The top 10 surprisingly isn’t that bad.

It was original and well done to me. Overrated? Maybe, I don't know..
I've like all of Peele's movies. Nope was interesting, good, original, and weird.

I really liked Nope, not much of a fan of Get Out.
I think Us is the best thing he’s done.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I was laughed at when I said this was one of the best films of the Century (by someone who hadn't even seen it)

Get Out was super original and well made. Us was fun as well. Nope was terrible imo.

It has good replay value….along with moneyball and margin call, maybe the best YouTube clip movie ever.

That list is INCREDIBLY less art house (pretentious, for many) than I would have expected it to be from the NYT.
Of course I disagree with many, especially the lack of inclusion of certain movies (Ex Mahcina, The Wailing, Hereditary, etc.), but it's not a bad list.
Kill Bill belongs nowhere near that list, however.

I think No Country and There Will be Blood should be 1 and 2 in no particular order. Blasphemy to leave Gangs of New York out of the top 100.

Really shocked that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is not in the top 10
I love Eternal Sunshine, its one of my all time faves. Surprised its top 10 to say the least, but I am glad its getting the recognition it deserves

I would argue that 11-20 are better than 1-10, but we all have different opinions.

Zodiac and Children of Men both should be top 10.

Get Out is the most overrated movie of my life I think

Inglorious Bastards at 14 and Wolf of Wall Street at 20?
LOVE both of those movies, but would never in a million years think critics or the likes would put those near the top of a best of list.
