Well 50% of the time we aren’t a top 8 team under Jay and travel for a regional and lose in game 7.
The other 50% of the time we are a top 8 seed and win the NC.
Think the goal is to be a top 8 seed at the end of the 56-game playoff
Eta: my prediction is we finish as a top 8 seed cuz all Jay has left to prove to himself now is he can do it B2B. In other words, pain.

I firmly believe with the pieces that are already in place PRIOR to the transfer portal landings we are in a better position going into this season compared to where we were at the end of 2024.

I would be happy if they got back to Omaha even if 0-2. Win or lose a great place to finish the season.

Depends on who leaves now and who stays and which recruits skip MLB for now.
Gut feeling: #9-12 national seed, win our home Regional and then lose 1-2 in a Super somewhere like Knoxville or Fayetteville or Nashville.

I don’t hate Arkansas, but I do hope we beat them and win hat series in their stadium next year just to put down the idea that Arky let that game go more than LSU out played them. We also beat Tennessee again.
