Yeah I’m taking Les. I know it got bad at the end but it’s clearly miles in this comparison. Played for 2 natty’s won one and until 2014 was as good as anybody in CFB not named Saban. We don’t give Les his due for how good he was here and for the elite talent he bought in year in year out . Bk has to win something of significance first. And yes Miles belongs in the HOF

miles was a good custodian but didn’t build anything and actively held the program back at the end.

The amount of talent that Les Miles wasted because of his refusal to not leave 1990s football is appalling.

Les was here 11 years and won 2 sec titles and had elite talent year after year. He just had the misfortune of sharing the SEC west with Saban at the peak of his powers.

After Bama 2014 I had finally had enough of Les myself. But he still sustained a damn good run here and had us in position year after year. He was saban away from winning 3/4 nattys and you can’t deny that

I’m not saying he didn’t do some nice things here. Those rosters he had were absolutely loaded and had no excuse to only win one championship.

The amount of talent that Les Miles brought to LSU was astounding

I’m as critical of Less as anybody but at least he showed up in Omaha to root for the baseball team. Kelly is too good to do such a thing. He better win this year or the critics will out of control. If he doesn’t win he doesn’t have the personality to save his job.

Him blowing the title in 11 directly allowed Saban to step in and take control of college football.

We win that game, things are extremely different.

Talent just all over the place. So much that as limited that the LSU offense was during his time here, the opponent basically knew what was coming and still had trouble stopping it.

Truth & we 100% lost that game bc of Miles stubbornness. Anybody that would choose him over BK post 1/9/12 isn’t thinking straight.

BK actually beat Bama in Tiger Stadium.
Oh & he beat Les in 2014

I stand corrected. You have evidence he was there in 2023. Sitting by Collis Temple. I didn’t see him this year. Collis either.

2011 would have been a definite. Alabama was the only team that could have beaten LSU, and it took them 2 tries.

You sure about that? There were LSU coaches from other sports that were there, but you wouldn't know that unless you checked.

I agree, the teams were tough and played with balls with Les.

We were more respected also.

Lets see what BK can get done this year.

What has BK ever won of any significance? He’s never won a fricking NY6 bowl and he’s in his 60’s…. In this argument / comparison hardware matters and until bk gets some it’s not even a debate
