They seem more anti-theist than atheist.
If you are against something, don't you have to first believe that the thing you are against actually exists?

They twist like a pretzel their logic. One of their key explanations is that we are several billion or trillion years old, therefore in that length of time, it supports the chance that rock and proteins mixed somehow and out came a monkey. Plus since no one knows what happened a thousand years ago, much less a million, they think this means it can’t be proven(whatever ka ka they dream up)

Atheism is not a permanent belief.
It’s a transition from believing in a religion (and realizing nobody knows what the frick they’re talking about in regards to an afterlife) to agnosticism.
