Time to hit the Transfer Portal.

Better than everything else.
Now go get in the portal and pull what you need for the next one.
We’re a little behind but for got reason and hopefully Nattys are good recruiting tools…. Says sarcastically.
Jay will be selective in the portal. Sounds more and more like unless we lose someone he isn’t expecting we will pretty much grab a couple pitchers and be done with the haul this year…
Everyone else has a head start… I know Jay has been recruiting but as he has said sometimes kids just don’t wait.

Want to see how our recruiting class shakes out with the draft. This might be a year we are really good later in the year with freshman and guys who didn’t play a lot. Trust Jay and company to find the right guys.

Always good to get a true Ace or two. I trust Jay's eye in picking them.
Eyanson and Cowan are good examples.
1B, 2B, 3B, C - I'm not saying we don't have someone that can play these positions. But I am saying that I wouldn't be upset to get some elite talent to compete for the position.
SS/OF - I wouldn't mind another Brown, Curiel or Milam on the roster for future years.

That top ten list can change if some top tier transfers enter the portal. When or does the portal ever close?

I think players have till July 1 to enter the portal. CoachJ said he was on the phone and texting recruits after the win.

I think we have our 1B/Power Hitter. His name is John Pearson. He's not listed as a 1B this year, but I know he can play it well.
