I don’t see why he’d leave. Like that he’s a strike thrower.

He pitched 3 homeruns last night to the right field that 30+mph wind coming from the right side prevented.

Why wouldn't he want to come prove himself in the SEC for a year?

For one, he'd stop getting yelled at by his coach.

If anybody could convince Flukey to leave his starter role at CC to go elsewhere, it would be Jay. I think if Jay really wanted Flukey bad enough he could get him here. That’s how confident I am in Jay as a recruiter and coach. Also I’m sure they’d probably give Flukey a pretty good little NIL pay raise lol

It would only be under the condition that he could improve his draft stock. Currently, he’s projected in the Top 3 rounds for 2026. I feel like if he had another great year at a school that has postseason success, he could move up regardless. Coastal already plays tough teams throughout their season. I think money would be the only motivator here.

Where does Coastal get all of their NIL money? Edwin McCain?

Would rather go after Joey Volchko from Stanford.

I don’t think Jay would risk tampering with the kid, especially with that crazy CC coach.

Kid is not in the portal so he would have to make the first move.
