I’ve never seen Jay as emotional as tonight.
He knows this team isn’t as stacked as 23 and they’re two wins from 8

I saw a brief video of him leaving the dugout. He was emotionally exhausted.

He looked like he was having a heart attack. Baseball will do it to you

If you buy into the stupidity of the rant, maybe that's true. This team, from top to bottom, is very very good. They have easily been one of the best teams in college baseball all season long. This team isn't overachieving based on their talent. They were national championship caliber from day 1.

They had a shot of Jay in the middle of the game and it was the most intense look I have ever seen Jay mid game. That dude was in a zone last night.
I think he knows that if we lost we still could have won today, but would have been greatly compromised in the CWS Finals. This game increased LSU’s chances to win the title three fold.

Come on, man. As great as Kade Anderson is, he’s not Paul Skenes. This 2025 team doesn’t have a Dylan Crews or a Tommy White. This team doesn’t have a Tre Morgan.
But this 2025 team is still awesome and ready to win a national title.

Most impressive thing in that video is running 300 feet with a full container of Gatorade.

This was a really cool POV. That blond haired girl can move well and still get the shot. She almost was apart of the Gatorade action.

We don’t have Paul Skenes and the top of the order isn’t as consistent, but I think the overall pitching staff and defense are better than the ‘23 team. Someone made a thread going through the lineup and picking either ‘23 or ‘25 players, and I found myself close to 50/50 between the two teams.

Our guys almost crossed the white line before Hernandez made it home.

Lol, is that Shores lugging an 85 pound water jug like it’s a handbag?

Anderson and Eyanson make up the best 1-2 punch in college baseball. Nobody is Paul Skenes, but he's a damn unicorn. That dude Evans is also pretty damn good.

Curiel is comparable to Crews in terms of impact. The rant has chosen Jones to be their whipping boy, but he's batting over .300 and has come up HUGE time and time and time again. Milam is better at SS, offensively and defensively. Dickinson is a better 2B. Brown and Stanfield have been absolutely rock solid all year. Hernandez is better hitting than 2023 catching and he's improved his defense a ton over the season. To sit here and say this team is outperforming their talent, or doesn't belong here, is ignorant as frick.

I love the kid running with a full ice chest!
That is work and dedication.

My Dad said it back in Feb. I asked him for his assessment from the former minor league player. He said if the bullpen holds up, they will win a national championship. He said they had the best offense in college baseball and two bonified starters. Lets see if his prediction can hold for two more games.

surprised LSU didn't get dinged for leaving the dugout before the run scored.

I watched that over and over and over. Awesome moment
