There were people wanting him pinch hit for when he was 1-2 because he struck out. This was after he’d made 3 or 4 nice plays in the field already.

I love to see people overcome personal adversity. It is inspiring and one of the great feelings in being human.
- Struck out five (5) times in game 1.
- Came back with a HR in game 2
- Game 3 tonight has a drop/miss at first in failing to convert a double play ball that allowed Arky to take the lead
- Comes back with a HR in next inning to tie game
- Gets game winning hit in bottom of ninth with two outs.

I saw Arizona totally implode. They got down on themselves after 1 mistake and just kept allowing it to snowball. The pitcher was pissed at himself and allows a runner to take 2nd base because he wasn’t paying attention at all. They lost their composure. LSU never did.

He held off on a bunch of pitches he was whiffing on over the last 2 days. Really great adjustments.
