To Mark Walter no less. He owns the Dodgers and Chelsea F.C. as well as the LA Sparks. I’m a Dodgers fan so Ive witnessed his endless ability to spend which means they will have no issues paying the highest tax bracket, giving them even more talent. The rich get richer. Meanwhile we are the Oakland A’s without a Billy Beane.

Haven’t seen contract, but they are saying 10 billion valuation. That doesn’t mean he is paying 10 billion.
Edit: If you saying he already owns 26%. It says Buss family owns around 66%. Idk how Buss family breaks down that %, but he only needs to buy enough to become majority owner. Of course he can buy more.

He’s not forking over another 10B on his current stake. Total valuation is $10B, but yes we are correct on the Pels. They can be bought for approx $4B and moved to Tampa or Nashville and immediately worth $6B.

All I've heard all season is that the 2nd apron is basically a hard cap because of all the negative things that comes with it

I get the point, but that movie also left out guys like Miguel Tejada, Jermaine Dye, Tim Hudso, Mark Mulder, Barry Zito, etc.
All of those guys were scouted and brought into the farm by the old Dumars-esque grandpa's at the table......
