They had no choice. UCLA can swing it and manufacture runs, something that scary Arkansas lineup can't do and hasn't done.

They're crafty at the plate. Hopefully get his pitch count up and they have to burn a long reliever.

I bet Arkansas loses. They haven’t scored hardly any runs the last 2 games. Very poor and in the last game timely hitting. I bet UCLA shuts them down. UCLA can put the ball in play. There won’t be 17K tonight.

Which is why I worry more about playing UCLA a second time tomorrow with Johnny Wholestaff.

That said. I think we can out hit them.

I’m excited to see that. I don’t think Arkansas has the depth to hold us down twice now without their number one and two guys.

Of course he is. Yesterday, there were folks here who said DVH wouldn't pitch Root on that rest.

UCLA’s pitching staff isn’t that impressive. We will hit them again if we play them and win.
