gaekle

curious how much he has left, threw 119 pitches, which was 28 more than his previous career high.

Edit- he threw 90, yesterday's pitcher threw a career high, in my defense I copied from the Arkansas site who had it backwards.

Hopefully they get to him and gaekle

Hard to imagine Gaekle sees the field tonight unless they need a couple of outs to close out the game.

Threw 90. Gage Wood threw 116.

I’m excited to see that. I don’t think Arkansas has the depth to hold us down twice now without their number one and two guys.

I would assume the Saturday reliever that shut us down will be available, unless they use him tonight

He threw 100 pitches...if he is available it would be for an inning or two only

Makes sense when they have like 6 lefties in their lineup

I don't see arky losing today, UCLA just pitched like 8 dudes against us. None of those guys are going to pitch this afternoon

Hopefully 3 innings (and lots of pitches) then a rain delay.

And then Gaekle for a few innings

We are the best team in the CWS presently.

Coastal is sitting pretty nice with the extra days off

Ucla’s staff is depleted. Im not sure how they are going to get outs. Arkansas should whip them. Hopefully it stays close for 4-5 innings

I bet Arkansas loses. They haven’t scored hardly any runs the last 2 games. Very poor and in the last game timely hitting. I bet UCLA shuts them down. UCLA can put the ball in play. There won’t be 17K tonight.

They will tighten up quickly if UCLA comes out hitting early like they did against us. They are a tough team to prep for coming out of the SEC because we just don’t see elite small ball. UK is one thing, but they aren’t nearly as good at it as this team is.

They're also very hot at the right time. Coastal is going to be a big challenge for whoever plays them.
