Cancelling Comcast Xfinity via Nonpayment?

My cc number was compromised recently and got a new card in the mail. I reset all my autopay, except Xfinity. I've been meaning to cancel it.
So Xfinity is now emailing and texting me that my autopay isn't going through, threatening me with fees and service shutoff.
I laugh.
But is the joke on me or on them?
I really don't want to spend hours on the phone with benchods.

They'll definitely put their mark on your credit report. If you don't care about that, and don't ever plan to use their services again, there's not really anything else they can do.

I feel like they will cancel it for you, but you’ll still have some kind of balance, which if you don’t pay will go to a collection agency.

You have an account you can get to online. Log in and cancel it.

No, they do not allow cancellation online.

How's that FICA score?
If you mean FICO, it's 815.

For all they know, I'm dead.

Go to the local xfinity store and cancel. That'd probably be quicker than waiting on the phone if you can't do it via the app.

Depends on what the agreement is you signed with Xfinity. Aka the agreement you scrolled through without reading and clicked accept.
If you haven't paid your monthly subscription fee and you are still getting Xfinity services, you probably could be penalized. If the services are gone since they couldn’t charge your card, there is zero they can do.

Comcast/Xfinity (pronounced: Shitfinity, as it’s infinitely shitty), is by far the most shiesty, evil corporation in America. They are evil, should be jailed, and shutdown. Pure criminals in the first order. Disagree? See the shiesty, sneaky charges they try to sneak by. If they weren’t fascist left wingers, the billboards would have already sued them into oblivion.
Comcast is the true “Great Satan.”

Same as mine. I commiserate about stolen the CC. I've had to do the same as you four times.

He's going to owe for any services he's had without paying.
Then they are going to tell him it takes 30 days to cancel. It will take 30 days so they can maximize their profits.
That's if they don't fail to cancel.

Correct. The team that fields the cancellation calls unfortunately will be understaffed and you'll have to wait for about an hour.

Nah... he can go into the local Xfinity store, settle up and cancel on the spot.
