I’d say that’s fairly significant

We have a lot of assets in mothball status that could be revived as well.

All those planes and Russia can’t achieve air superiority in Ukraine.

But the problem is that we won’t have illegals to fly them. No American wants to ever have a job flying one of those things

Makes sense the US would have 14k aircraft, we spend more money on the military than the next 9 nations on that list.

Those numbers for all countries are misleading. Includes helicopters and transport planes/helicopters. The US with 14k but only about 1200 are Air Force fighters/attack and 115 bombers. And the navy another 600 offensive jets.

Not disagreeing by any means about emp, however over 30 years ago the US was working on transistors in microchips being operational using water molecules. This is one way the essential military electronics is hardened against emp.

I read where Israel had 50 f35s. With 25 on order. I think in usa that the f35 is mission ready capable only about 50% of the time.

They're probably counting old MiG17-25s that Russia still technically has on the books even though they're not air-worthy.

“Now do drones. I seriously have no clue”

Per grok: Exact numbers of military drones per country are often classified or vary by source, but available data from 2024-2025 provides estimates for some key nations. The following list focuses on combat drones (UCAVs) and other military UAVs, based on web sources and posts on X:

- **United States**: ~13,000 UAVs, including MQ-9 Reaper, RQ-4 Global Hawk, and RQ-11 Raven. Leads in advanced stealth and surveillance tech.[](LINK [](LINK [](LINK
- **Turkey**: ~1,421 drones, notably Bayraktar TB2 and Akinci. Strong exporter, combat-proven in multiple conflicts.[](LINK [](LINK
- **Poland**: ~1,209 drones, rapidly expanding capabilities with NATO-aligned systems.[](LINK
- **Russia**: ~1,050 drones, including Orion and Lancet models. Focus on tactical and loitering munitions.[](LINK
- **Germany**: ~670 drones, primarily reconnaissance and NATO-compatible systems like Heron TP.[](LINK
- **China**: No exact number, but mass-produces Wing Loong and CH-5 drones. Significant exporter to 40+ nations since 2018.[](LINK [](LINK
- **Iran**: ~3,000+ UAVs, heavily focused on low-cost, asymmetric drone warfare (e.g., Shahed series).[](LINK
- **Israel**: ~150–200 drones, including advanced models like Heron and Harop. Emphasis on precision and surveillance.[](LINK
- **India**: ~200–300 drones (estimated), with indigenous models like Rustom and imports like MQ-9B. Expanding rapidly. (No direct source, inferred from regional trends.)
- **United Kingdom**: ~100–200 drones (estimated), including Watchkeeper and Reaper. Focus on ISR and strike. (No direct source, inferred from NATO trends.)

Over 90 countries operate military drones, with 40+ possessing armed UCAVs. Numbers are approximate due to secrecy, varying definitions (e.g., small FPV vs. MALE drones), and rapid proliferation. For precise data, check sources like dronewars.net or armedforces.eu, though even these rely on open-source intelligence.[](LINK [](LINK [](LINK
