This is the real reason the ratings are shite. The guy you parade around the network all year isn’t even paying attention to the game.

He is doing it on purpose to stir up more drama to use as "content"

If people would just ignore this dumbass we would all get what we want and that's him to disappear into obscurity.

Nothing new with him. Does everyone remember a few years back when he was talking NFL and was looking forward to seeing players that weren't even going to play due to injury?

I don’t know how purposely being caught not paying attention to the game benefits him. “I don’t pay attention to the game while at the game. I’m the best!” I do understand he’s an attention whore but this is an awful look for a guy who’s supposed to be an “expert.”

During the 4th quarter no less. I could maybe understand the first quarter since the first quarter in the nba is essentially meaningless.

The fact that any company pays him any amount of money to do anything at all is a massive stain on our society.

He’s got a specific audience and they love him. He’s trying to expand on that and uses that idiot Sean Hannity to help him

Sports aren't his main focus anymore he's busy with politics and mulling a run at POTUS.

In his defense, he’s being forced to watch Indy and OKC.

Probably his protest of teams in finals
Also the Knicks will hire a terrible coach which will be good for him
His act is so old

Running for POTUS....he's making it known that he wants to become the black Joe Rogan, i.e. branching out of just sports coverage.

When he first came on First Take he admitted he didn’t know anything about football, he’s a basketball guy. Now he’s an expert.

I think this is more a reflection of the NBA rather than Stephen A
