Getting up in age. I know how to handle firearms and already have the pistol I would carry.
What age does the OT think one should consider carrying if one is average fitness? 50, 60, 70?

What does age have to do with conceal carry?

Nothing. Just never really felt the need.

I was in my 20s when I started carrying.

Then I I’d say the age when you feel the need is probably best.

So it has nothing to do with age but you’re asking which age?

and why do you feel the need now? Did you get robbed? Politics?

Then it still has nothing to do with age.
If your thought previously was that you were a young whippersnapper and could take care of business with your hands you were wrong all along.
Carry when you feel you need to have protection and be prepared for what may occur.
*If you are licensed and can handle a pistol without causing unintentional harm.

What's the pistol you have that you would carry?
Don't go cheap on the holster. Comfort or lack there of is the biggest reason most people don't carry consistently.

However old you were when people started committing random violent crimes.
