Pepper Spray Suggestions

Howdy baws, my elderly mother is past the point in her life where she feels comfortable with a gun or taser and is looking for pepper spray suggestions. Appreciate any suggestions, if it makes a difference I'm in the Houston area.

Kimber Pepperblaster. It shoots a stream instead of a spray that wind can blow everywhere.

I'm still a fan of the regular ol MACE brand law enforcement style ones.

I'm not a fan of the kimber one. Too hard to hit someone in the face with that. I bought two of them a while back, one to carry and one to test. You only get two chances with it and you have to be accurate. It is difficult to aim.

Freeze P+ is some badass shite.
Stopped a charging pitbull dead in its tracks and it disappeared for 3 days. When it finally did emerge it wouldn't even come on the same side of the street as me.

I like POM. I got the one with the pocket clip. My wife, her sister, and my MIL all use the keychain version. It’s compact and convenient to carry and easy to access if needed.

As a law enforcement officer I carried this on my belt for years and also kept an extra one in my door.

I bought my niece the Kimber pepper blaster. She has had to use it to prevent a kidnapping in Denver. Said she blasted the thug at 8’ in the face. Took maybe 1 sec for him to realize what was happening. Took off screaming and howling from pain.

I have several cans of bear spray,,,,,,I used it while hiking in Chicot State Park on a lab/german Shepard mix, it plumb f$&ked that dog up. And it’s got range

This is what we carried when i was a green jeans. We got sprayed in the face during training. You don't want to get sprayed with it. It will totally ruin your day.
