will win the whole thing. True or False?

Personally I pick true because these are the most talented two teams in this CWS and whoever ends up in the winner bracket will have a huge advantage.

How would you have answered that question when LSU and Wake faced each other the first time in 2023?

no way to tell.

I think we can all agree that the winner of Arky/LSU and possibly Coastal would be the best teams in Omaha on paper.

False, winner will definitely be in the driver's seat but anyone of these teams can win it all seems like.

I guess the other side of the bracket is completely irrelevant then. Why even play it?

If we don’t win it all I hope Coastal does

This. Crazier things have happened. My grey hair is directly related to LSU losing to Wake and Florida in the CWS. 8 stressful games in 10 days. Damn, my nerves were wrecked back then.

I wish people would stop saying this UCLA has quietly blown through their post season, coastal has won 23 straight, Murray state has the hottest bats in the country, and Arizona just beat a top ranked UNC team on the road. It’s anybody’s tournament

To rephrase your scenario in a way that won't get you slaughtered.

If you guys had to make a bet on Sunday morning, would you take the winner of LSU/Arky or the field? Seems like I'd be torn.

Personally, I'd take the field very narrowly. I think whoever wins is in the best position, but there is still too much firepower and teams that are white hot right now.

This is one of those years where it’s difficult to answer based on how regionals and super regionals played out.

The winner of this first LSU/Arky game will....play at least three games in Omaha.

After the SEC's poor showing in the tournament leading up to the CWS, I would be wary about anointing either team as a run away favorite at this time.

Staying clean and in the winner's bracket is always the easiest path.

Winning the second game is just as vital as winning the first.

You continue to make yourself look stupid. Have to be trolling at this point...hopefully.

The winner will be the prohibitive favorite. If you want to give me -110 odds on the winner after the game I'll take it but whoever wins will have much shorter odds than that.

Odds in our favor, but you never know. There are 8 teams that fought their way there.

Probably false, but I think the winner of that game has the best odds.
