I never finished the entire series and it’s been a long time since I e watched it so the hankering is back. Just started episode 1 on Hulu

Me and the Mrs have been doing a re-watch lately and I had forgotten how many of the episodes were more of a monster of the week variety as opposed to UFO themed. Duchovny and Anderson did have a good chemistry on screen and made for a quality program

It was the tension between them for not getting along a lot while filming

I’ve almost done this so many times over the years, but the sheer number of episodes have been too daunting. I was a young teen when it first started airing so I never really watched the show consistently. Just an episode here or there.

I did a rewatch last year, definitely worth it. There was more humor in it than I remembered.

The Pacific Northwest vibe really helps so much for this show too.

Scully sounds exactly like this chick I know. The way she speaks, the pauses, a bit of the timidity…

Oh shite, Seth green in episode 2 lol.

Mulder and Scully are way way too quick to pull out their guns lol

Braless Scully running hah

Aww shite, tooms, hate that creepy fricker

I never really got into X Files (which is odd because the subject matter is right in my wheelhouse) until one Sunday when I had to register for classes at LSU using the old Reggie phone registration system.

Reggie required us to call a number that 30k other students were also dialing at the same time.

So it was hours worth of dial, busy signal, hangup, redial, busy signal, hangup, and so on.

One year there was an X Files marathon airing while on registration day.

I go so into the show that a couple of times the phone actually rang, but hung up out of habit.

I got into the show after that.

"Small Potatoes" is my favorite X-Files episode. Duchovny playing a shapeshifter pretending to be Mulder was hilarious.

I watched a few growing up, but never really watched the series. Does the show have a conclusion or do they get cancelled at some point? Don’t want to start if there is no “ending”.

Eugene Tooms and Donnie Pfaster were probably my favorite villains. Creepy as hell the both of them.
