Who is the earliest born person you have ever met?

I was born in 1990. One of my earliest memories is from 1994, when I met one of my great grandparents who had been born in 1895. She died a few months after I met her, shortly before she would have turned 100.
I can only imagine who people who are older than me might have met.

My paternal great-grandmother turned 100 when I was 6 or 7 so she would have been born around 1873/4.

My great grandmother was born in 1892. She died in 1989. Being born in 1977 I remember visiting with her as a youngster.

I met my great grandmother a few times in the nursing home when I was very young. Only time I've ever been to a nursing home thus far.
She was in her late 90's in the early 1990's so she was likely born 1890 give or take.

Met my great grandpa around 1986. I was about 4, he fought in WWI. Still had shrapnel in him when he died.

You never actually know when you were born fwiw. You're just taking other people's word for it.

Funny you ask, I “met” a guy today at Ace Hardware buying BBQ rub, he said he was 96. He was getting around great, drove himself there.

My maternal grandfather was born in 1888. Died in 1981 at age 92. Was 26 years old when WWI started and 29 when US entered. Was too old to go. He was 53 when Pearl Harbor was attacked (same year my mother was born, LOL).

My wife’s great aunt died a couple months ago at 106. She was born in 1918 and still lived by herself in the house her dad built her in 1940. She was sharp as a tack up until the day she died, and had some incredible stories. Still had her WWII war bond books in an old drawer. Antique furniture and portraits from her grandparents. Her house was a time machine.
She’s definitely the earliest that I was old enough to have a meaningful conversation with.

Our neighbor growing up was 106 when she died in 2001. She was sharp as a tack and told great stories. She never had any children, so we would go check on her and visit when we were kids. My parents had a key to her house and we would occasionally get a call asking us to go check on her because they couldn’t get her on the phone or something (she was deaf as a post- she rarely heard the phone ring
). We would go inside yelling her name, hoping we wouldn’t find her dead in the house.
She used to give us ice cream or candy and tell us not to ruin our dinner
