On the play before this, they got a nice backhanded pick at 3rd that should have been the final out. But the 1st baseman got caught spectating the play and was late to cover the bag so the throw wasn't made. Yikes.

I'd like a wider angle to see what the runner on second did from the jump... I assume he just blew through 3rd base?

Also, the college/minor league field adds a fitting touch.

The fact that 2B and 1B were drifting towards 2nd instead of normal 2 out positioning/depth is insane

When you add it’s a lefty at the plate, it’s completely inexcusable

Catholic High/LSU legend Josh Smith is a middle infielder who doesn’t normally play 1B

He was too far off to start which falls on the coaches, but trying to get to the ball was arguably instinctual

we aren't talking enough about how two major league teams are literally playing at spring training/minor league parks this year

That is INSANE

The pitcher didn’t bust it off the mound either. Not sure he would have beat the runner to first but at least it’s a play. Lots of blame to go around.

I was confused as frick the first 2 times watching the video before I realized TB was playing, and they were the home team, thus connecting the dots.

The Yankees' use of the dugout phone to relay information about an opposing Club's signs during the 2015 season, and part of the 2016 season, constitutes a material violation of the Replay Review Regulations. By using the phone in the video review room to instantaneously transmit information regarding signs to the dugout in violation of the Regulations, the Yankees were able to provide real-time information to their players regarding an opposing Club's sign sequence - the same objective of the Red Sox's scheme that was the subject of the Yankees' complaint.

Straight from the letter from MLB to the Yankees. Followed by a fine.

Debunk that, while I debunk your ol lady.
