And the people who pay most of the taxes get to pay more taxes, while the people with negative effective tax rates get a bigger negative effective rate. That isnt a win.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. There are no loopholes. We are talking about people who don’t qualify for many tax credits and live in higher end neighborhoods, not wealthy gated estates. They are people you would consider very well off but not wealthy.

I’m all for raising taxes on the Uber wealthy. The 1% of the 1%.

As long as the loopholes in the tax code exist, it won’t. Trump agreed about this and bragged about it in a debate with Hitlery.
It really is all about spending. It HAS to be cut, and it will be painful, but necessary, for many.
