Seems like I’ve heard mixed reports but haven’t been yet.

I haven't been myself, but my coworkers go a few times a week and say it's very good.

Not bad. Kind of like a Mediterranean Chipotle

It's very good. Probably the healthiest quick bite to eat out there and as a poster above me said its a Mediterranean Chipotle but way better quality than Chipotle in my opinion.

if you live in BR, NOLA or Lafayette areas there are dozens of Lebanese/Greek/Mediterranean restaurants better than a shitty QSR chain

It is absolutely foul. One of the worst fast food places I've ever been. There are infinite better options for that style of food.

Technically, it's Fast Casual. A Mediterranean Chipotle is a perfect description. Like any chain, it will be based on the operations of the location. I've had good luck the 3 or 4 times I ordered from there though.

a bowl is basically two meals so I don't understand those that think it's healthy if you eat the whole thing

those little bread pita things are delicious

Good but be careful with the toppings. Choose only a couple of the pickled items unless you want to eat a bowl of vinegar.

Very good option to mix it up. Their pita hand wraps are good as well.

It's good, but made to give fatties the illusion that they're eating healthy like Chipotle. Once you start layering on the flavors and dressings, it defeats the purpose of healthy bowls.

This. The average bowl is like 800 calories before making any changes

It’s good for what it is. It’s better for its genre than chipotle is for Mexican, by far.

How many fast food places have you eaten at?

CAVA is great for what it is.

I eat at the one in Elmwood about 2-3 times a month as its only 2 minutes form my office. I like it, its typically pretty fresh, you can put you want on it and the workers in that particular locale are pretty fast. Bad part is if you get a drink its around $ 17-18 which is a little steep.

Probably didn’t know what it was and was incensed when he walked in and saw the whole menu wasn’t fried food

I’ve been once and loved it. But I don’t think the calorie estimates are accurate.

I got the harissa steak bowl, which was apparently 650 calories.

It was a massive bowl with rice, steak, cheese, vegetables, two scoops of hummus, lettuce, and a sauce. It definitely seemed like a lot more than 650 calories.
