I’m looking for good dining ideas in Panama City Beach. Not looking for super elegant but for my family, which includes my ten year-old daughter. Just good food in a nice atmosphere and in a safe neighborhood.
Thank you to all.

J Michaels is a fun place if they are still open.

We load up on crabs at Dirty Dick's every trip. I gotta say PCB has become trashier in the past 5 years.

If you’re looking for non-seafood options, I’ve gone to a Thai restaurant there a couple of times and I’ve had good food- Oishi, it’s on front beach road. For Mexican, Diego Burrito is busy but good food.
There’s also a place that serves La food + beignets + snoballs. Owner is from La - I think it’s called David’s.

Dat Cajun place- good food, best bang for your buck
Grand Marlin- next to Captain andersons, good food, better atmosphere imo
Hunt and Gather- niche restaurant that serves more “chef” style dishes than commercial dishes. Bison ribeye, rack of elk, etc.
For quick and easy bites- Liza’s for a good sandwich, Finn’s for a great taco
You can cross the bridge and check out the options in St. Andrews. Hunts built a new upstairs area and all of their seafood is sourced locally. Yellowedge grouper sandwich for $20. Premium and house oyster options. Just don’t get baked oysters, they microwave them. If you want a cooked oyster they do offer chargrilled now
If you’re staying on the west end, Mcguires or Dusty’s

my wife and kids love Diegos. Fresh made mexican right on the beach road.
Also, Captain's Table in St. Andrews ( a bloc away from Hunt's) for peel and eat shrimp, fried oysters, or grouper throats was always good. (i haven't been since Michael hit and they had to re-build)
