OM got overseeded at 10. They won a couple games and not sure teams were caring at the end except for teams that were trying to improve their seeding....yes OM made it to conference finals, but they climbed further than Vandy did during the tourney. I could see a 16 seed with OM. Conference tournament results clearly mattered for some teams and not others.

Since I don't know how good/bad all these teams are, I'm gonna need to make sure the sarcasm meter is ON/OFF for me. Thanks.

You mean like Vandy being tied for third in the SEC but #1 overall seed?

Regular season sure.

Vandy total sec wins- 22
OM total sec wins- 19

They actually tied UT for most SEC wins total including the post season. So not exactly apples to apples.

You do realize RPI is not the only metric out there correct? I feel like you do not.

Yes, conference tournaments play heavily.

I don't understand this argument when LSU took the series from teams like Arky, Tenn, OU, Bama, Miss St, etc. I'm sure other teams play bad teams.

Vanderbilt got swept by Arkansas who LSU beat. Vandy also lost the series with OU who LSU swept. Ole Miss took 2 of the 3 from Vandy.

I'm not sure what your point is and I'm not arguing against Vandy as the 1. My point is the SEC is rough and LSU had a great season winning 20 SEC games regardless who was down.

LSU had the 2nd most SEC wins this season. I don't care if they played 2 down teams.
