Best comedians today?

Personal preferences for sure. But for me:
Anthony Jeselnik
Dave Chappelle
Also, Daniel Tosh for me.
On the flipside, I don’t like Ron White’s stuff. It just doesn’t click with me. I’m probably more neutral than anything else.

There are a lot of very good ones, I can't call one the best.
I like Sean Gillis right now, but I like most of the popular comedians.

Bennie Mac is one of my favorite of all time.

Shane and Chapelle on the throne now
Most underrated is Jim Jefferies

Chappelle is terrible now. Phones it in and relies on his trans “controversy” from 2017. I saw him at Toyota Center in 2023 and he was hours late, took a 45 minute intermission (where a rap dj played music), and was generally terrible.
Best I have seen live: Pete Holmes, Sam Morrill, Dave Attell, and Mark Normand

Up and coming
Nick Mullen

Daniel Tosh was great. Unsure how much comedy he does anymore.

Another vote for Bargatze. A clean comic that is still funny is a rare bird indeed. As a rule, I hate baseball and stand up comedy.

I’ll have to check some of these other comedians out.

Ryan Long and Danny Polischnuk (sp) from the boyscast are hilarious as well.

Why is it always you with wrong responses?
While Bernie Mac (you spelled his name wrong, imagine that) was funny as hell, he's dead. Therefore, not the best today. OweO you get worse day by day.

So much that you don’t even know his name

Houston gets pretty much every big name comedian.
In a 7 month period, Houston will have had live shows from Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Segura (heard he bombed), Aziz Ansari, Jimmy Carr, John Mulaney, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Josh Johnson, Pete Holmes, and Ralph Barbosa.
And that’s just off the top of my head.
