Thomas Massie is a problem. He votes no democrats. Therefore he is one of them. Spare me the budget shite. He has no fresh ideas other than no vote.

Yeah, has the GOP sunk so low we are now villainizing congressmen who vote for less spending?*

*Don't give me the "he's just grandstanding and won't vote for anything not 'perfect'" BS. All of these bills are still embarrassingly bad

AIPAC tried to primary him and he owned them. He's not losing that district until the gerrymander it for him to lose

Massie is a fricking tool. I understand the points he is making, but his alianting of everyone on his side of the isle makes him essentially worthless. Sound the alarm all you want, but you gotta circle the wagons at the end.

He's basically a Democrat at this point. He's the poster child for why libertarians never get anything accomplished in US government. It's all or nothing with them, so they get nothing.

I haven't kept up with anything he's said regarding this bill. I do however remember during Covid, he advocated for using the unemployment systems already in place to compensate lost income for workers instead of printing money and doling it out to everyone, regardless of income status.

Do yall listen to anything the guy says? He's provided all kinds of alternatives. Guess what, they all involve actually living within your means so they get voted down.
