I cant think of any reasonable situations where I'm drunk driving at 2:30 am with kids in the car. Ya cant go to bars with kids. So ya went to a child friendly house party that ended at 2 am? I guess that's not that crazy?

And in the end------nothing will come of this after it's dragged through the courts with delay after delay giving the voting public time to forget all about it.
Politicians, lawyers, Drs. etc. all tend to take care of their own.

NOT DEFENDING,
But in response to your bewilderment:
Dude got housed at a bar and went home...or sat home and got shitty...then got hungry and thought he'd be responsible by not leaving the kids at home...
It's not "reasonable" per your requirement, but it's possible.

That’s odd. Normally when a politician, especially a representative or senator is mentioned in a news story, there will be either a “(R)” or “(D)” after their name to identify their political affiliation. That seems to have been omitted in this case.
I wonder why?
