And he was almost right. DJT did get convicted in NYC. But it came too close to the election to allow for sentencing. There was reporting that Biden was fuming that it took prosecutors too long to bring the criminal cases in time for jailing to interfere with the election.
Of course all of this underscores another huge lie by the Biden administration: that the criminal cases were brought independently of White House involvement.
