I think he comes back. He has looked good lately. He won’t loose leverage being a redshirt junior next year . I think seeing Anderson parlay a top 5 pick from a great season will help bring him back.
He could be one of the best next year.

Shores is 6’7, throws triple digits, someone will draft him in the top 5 rounds based on pure projection of his measurables and ceiling.

He either comes back for baseball or his MBA but he's not getting a lucrative signing bonus with what he has done on the bump the last few seasons

He’s hitting 99-100 on the gun every outing. He’s going in the top 3 Rounds even with his struggles

I think he's gone. His raw measurables are elite. His numbers aren't great this year, but he's improving steadily after an injury, has his velo back, and his ceiling is very, very high.
MLB will risk a high draft pick on that sort of player.

He's also been pitching pretty well lately. I could see him having a big draft surge with a good postseason. We shall see.

If he developed an out pitch or another pitch he could throw for strikes he would be a top 5 pick next year

I think you’ll be surprised at what he gets offered. His results don’t matter that much. He’s coming back from injury. A team will throw money at him.

And his performances are getting better and better.
I could see him having some big time moments this post season.

No I know how it works
He will get drafted high, they will low ball him though.
It's risky because he has leverage to come back

I think this is an easier sell to a position player and not a pitcher who has had a major injury.

I think MLB will see the potential and the fact he's just returning from an injury, and that he's starting to improve.
They can afford to take their time developing him, letting him develop another pitch, and they won't care about his W/L record. They can afford to give him several years under their own coaches.
I think it depends on how quickly he wants to start his professional career. Does he want the college experience next year, or does he want to begin the grind right away?

Not true. A couple years ago a guy fresh on Tommy John got drafted in the top 20. He didn’t even pitch in the minors for another year and a half. If the potential is there they’re gonna take that chance. Guys come back and are successful after TJ every single day.
ETA: Cal Quantrill.

It’s going to depend on who drafts him and how much bonus money they pay out in front of his pick. He can get over slot bonus if the chips fall into place.
