Win 2 Games in the SEC Tournament

I personally think LSU is a lock to be a top 8 regardless, but winning 2 shuts down any conversation to the contrary. It's that simple.

LSU may end up with the #1 overall seed if they beat Arkansas and Texas this weekend.

JAY needs to prove he can actually win an SEC tourney. Im sick of the excuses. This isn't the Pac 10.

LSU is already in the top 8. The only thing that can happen is Auburn, Vandy and UGA all jump LSU because of their tourney run.
At absolute best, one of those team is winning 1 or 0 games (Vandy and UGA) so there’s no real threat there. Auburn may not even make it to the quarters. They are likely getting a surging MSU in round 2.
ETA: Basically, LSU should get in even if they don’t win a game, but just 1 win in the tourney locks it up without a doubt.

I hope we win the first and lose the second. We will still get a top 8 seed easily, and we can get more rest.

I hope we don't face A&M again in the quarterfinals and lose. That would be the worst case scenario and potentially could thwart LSU top-8 aspirations.

Ummmm...it would be worse to lose to Auburn. That would put them 4-0 against us with a much higher rpi.

I'm just not seeing it....ark and Texas a lock. There are 4 other sec teams fighting for a national seed, including LSU. Guess what, those other 3 teams have rpis 1, 2, and 3. We don't need to lose to auburn and gon0-4 against them and they #2 rpi. We need to win a game to be sure.

He's won a damn national championship! I do not care about winning the SEC tournament. If we win great, but all I care about is getting through the SEC tournament injury free.

Never had a 19 win SEC team not be a top 8 national seed. LSU is a lock top 8. Everyone needs to chill.
