Still funny

The sheriff's office posted photos showing how the inmates escaped, which included taunting messages apparently left by the escapees. "To Easy LoL," one message read.

They should put those in the stand they have at the airport terminal.

I feel like I'm missing the underlying joke about the shirts.

Somebody has altered a Spongebob jail break scene with words related to the Nola jailbreak. It’s awesome!

It’s not a misspelling; it’s obviously a well-camouflaged taunt to law enforcement. The escapee is clearly saying he or the group intends to hide out at a place they refer to as “easy” or with a friend with the nickname “easy.”
The lack of any punctuation between easy and lol is what really grinds my gears.

I hope you're joking... but...
You're definitely putting way too much thought into this... They're prisoners... They don't know the difference between "to" and "too"...

Are you an escapee? Punctuation is a real thing.

Or perhaps a shout out to a friend or adversary named easy.

Oh no! Shirts that aren’t frat, camo, or LSU.
