I’m not saying we did “well” after that trade or we did “poorly” after that trade….

—Thinking of the Pelicans current status. —Team records through the years since the AD trade.

What does the Board Think ??
How did the Pelicans Fair ??

Kind of hard to succeed when the single biggest piece of the team in that time can’t stay on the fricking court.

Building a team around Zion where you are missing Zion 60% of the time has a low ceiling.

Everyone here knows the pelicans have been a failure since then. Why do you want to come on here and victory lap everyone. Who cares dude. We’re fans. We want to be positive. No one thinks the organization is good. What are you trying to accomplish?

Ok…. So it seems YOUR vote is directed towards the organization failing since the AD trade.

Thank You for YOUR opinion.
But YOU do not speak for everyone else.

This question is geared to everyone to give their view… and some might disagree with you.

Let’s see.

You actually accomplished plenty! Problem was David Griffin traded all away for cheap junk.

Let’s see which players you got in the Davis trade and gave away

Dyson Daniels

Josh Hart

NAW

Brandon Ingram

Chris Finch ( You should be ashamed of yourselfs for not elevating him)

And we're running it back again next year like nobody will notice.

How can one be positive when you correctly deduce the organization is not good?

No one thought Zion would miss 55% of games. Made a lot of good draft picks, picked up veterans but can’t offset injured Zion.

You must be referring to this board’s coveted “war chest”. We accomplished jack shite. They won the trade easily with a championship and we still suck.

I always wonder for those people that play the mental gymnastics games, if we had LeBron and they had Zion, would we then have won the trade?

For those that don’t follow, the Lakers won because they have LeBron. We sent one year of a disgruntled player for years of multiple players. And still have Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum and Herb Jones along with the Pacers pick next year. One of the best trades in our history for sure.

Our disgruntled player was a rare all star in NOLA who forced the trade. Why on the rare occasion we get an elite player they consistently force their way out?

It happens everywhere, not just Nola. Hell, the Bucks are probably about to go through it with the best player in the league.

It’s true. Location and history mostly. Even OKC had their stars leave. Go down the list.

Where are our multiple playoff appearances or title like the Bucks got in 21? We didn’t do shite when we had players.

Which is the primary reason our players have left. Same for the Bucks situation right now.

They had Giannis, we didn’t. It’s a pretty simple formula.

And even still, they won one championship in 12 seasons.

How did the Pelicans “Fair”? I guess that’s a “fair” question, but we know the answer…
