Ostrich is easily the best leather as far as comfort goes. I have multiple pairs of exotics and the Ostrich hands down.
ETA: I do not own Elephant, so cant comment. Also, as far as Alligator, Cayman is way more common than actual Gator boots.

I bought a pair of ostrich skins from a local bookmaker in Bozeman (though I think they are made in SW Texas). They were pretty frickin pricy, but they’re the best shoes I’ve ever had and I plan to have them the rest of my life.

I have both ostrich and elephant. Personally I prefer the elephant but can’t go wrong with either.
