The Palisades are never coming back. Not for ordinary Californians.

As most here predicted the state is going to use environmental regulations to reserve the area for the Uber rich.
$3-5 million per home just to upgrade septic systems.

I can’t really bring myself to care much about this. They got what they voted for. Congrats.

Hope it all stays destroyed

Well, when they've worshiped at the altar of climate change for 30+ years, this is what they get.
They built an entire city and state's existence around the "climate emergency" and now they're going to have to pay for it, literally.
And if they fight to get these requirements changed, then they'll prove to the world their climate emergency was a hoax all along.
What to do, what to do...

It’d be sad if that shite burnt to ground again in a few years.

Makes you think huh.
Why did this happen recently the same way in both places?
Who was hurt both times?

They can always bag their shiit and drop it off at City Hall or the nearest Sierra Club.

"For the greater good", aka 'Those who are GREATER than the rest of the lowlife plebs'.
Getting what you voted for - feels great, huh?

Anyone who pays that kind of money to build anything in California is a fool.
Two miles down the road there's 200 broke down RV's with drug riddled homeless bums living for free shitting, throwing trash, dirty needles and diapers all over the street.
But you can't build a "frickING" house without jumping through 1000 hoops.
The tax base is leaving the state but Gavin can't figure out what the problem is.
I just hope they stop moving to Texas

In Texas they made me tear up a perfectly good and functioning septic system and replace it with a modern system at my retreat on the water in lake Travis
It’s not a California thing
