Just curious. Also, still don’t know why he went there to begin with…

He should have never gone there to begin with. I think both him and South Carolina give it another try next season. If it’s more of the same next year, he probably hangs it up for good.

He’s gone after next year, either fired or a mutual part ways situation. SEC baseball in 2025 is a cutthroat league and he doesn’t have it anymore.

I think he steps down this is way too much for him

That statement about how he didn't expect the SEC to be this good wasn't a good look but he'll get at least one more year provided he doesn't walk away on his own volition.

I can’t speak for CPM, but I’m guessing he simply enjoys to coach baseball. If someone will pay, might as well, right?

I don't think he can adapt.

You have to give a guy like him another year. He didn't inherit much.

His first year has always been bad, but I feel he doesn’t have it in him anymore. I was surprised he took the job to begin with. Another poster said his wife likes to spend money lol.

He probably blew all his money on wine and loose women. That’s why he took the job.

Who knows.

Feels a lot like further proof he coasted for quite some time.

Just realized SoCar only has 4 losses out of conference. Tough year to walk into the SEC coaching a new program.

Another year. If he doesn’t have much success I think he makes the call to call it quits.

Its his first year and 75% of the team left last year. He needs to recruit.
