Other than hiring mostly Republicans, how does Chic Fil A do it?

How are they that much better than everybody else?

They set standards and hold people accountable. Crazy times.

I think you pretty much covered it.

I definitely wouldn't say that about the ones here in Atlanta...

Let you in an a secret…politics has nothing to do with it.

Pay above the prevailing wage, and actually train their employees and hold them to a standard. Has nothing to do with political affiliation. What a sad existence

And pay well.
I'll say, I haven't found them to be significantly better at customer service than Cane's. Both are aided by a fairly simple menu. If you don't have a lot of options, you can be quick and accurate.

Store environment is prioritized. They will over staff to make sure they have a quick and reactive public interaction.
They have clean and safe stores which opens them up to more young applicants.
Was a few years back when my daughters were looking for a high school job. CFA was one of only a handful of jobs I would allow them to apply at due to safety.

This is it.

I've always suspected that being closed on Sunday actually helps their business because it plants a seed in the mind of hungry passerby's that there will be a time when I can't get this so I better get it now. Just a speculation on my part because I know I've gotten food there thinking that. Because you always get a craving on a random Sunday afternoon and then...damn.

Even Cane's usually has an above average work staff when compared to other fast food places.

Culture, excellent work environment and training.

Yeah I think it really is about as simple as this. I just always assumed they have managers that actually care and are invested. Because other places have rules and whatnot as well, but obviously the service isn't up to snuff.
Although I will say I have noticed what I call the CFA effect, where other chains have become nicer and more friendly and helpful. And I honestly believe that is due to competition with CFA.

Their managers make enough money to actually want to work there too. I know a guy that didn’t go to college (went to seminary actually and his dad is a preacher too) that worked at chick fil a in high school and still works there as a GM like 30 years later because the pay is actually good

the owner/operator is required to be present. they also limit the number of restaurants one person can own/operate
most fast food restaurants are now owned by investment groups that have hundreds of locations and rely on local managers to run the store.

Come to the one in ellick I think you’ll be unpleasantly surprised.
Easily the worst CFA I have ever been to. It’s not even close.

Piss on them, any fast food place that doesn't offer onions can go to hell.
