The likely earliest return in the playoffs next season. There were already rumors that they were making roster changes in the offseason, before this. I think this makes it very likely.

It's going to be awhile before we see Tatum on the court again. That sucks.

They will have to. I believe, if they don't make any moves, based on projections, they would be looking at a payroll with tax bill over $500MM. Would be the highest ever.

Even with a fire sale and no Tatum, the east is pretty subpar. May still make the 8th seed just based on Brown and some scrubs.
