So? Are they victims of political persecution based on their race? Yes. I don't recall an income test for asylees. Now, STFU and go back to your hole. My work is done here.

We actually do- it's called the "public charge" clause written into the Immigration and Nationality Act. This doesn't apply to refugees or asylum seekers but is *supposed* to apply to all other immigrants. The law states if you're likely to be reliant upon government welfare programs, you're not supposed to be admitted. But it's almost never enforced. If it were, we wouldn't have half of Central America currently receiving WIC benefits.
