I remember during the Shinn days the goal was 10,000 season tickets . He even gave weekly updates on sales. Shinn also gave you his world famous Beer Garden and Smoking balcony. Gayle took all that away. Goal now 5,000? I think she is ready to sell..

Why would she sell? The Pelicans could not sell another season ticket package the rest of this off-season and she would still make a substantial profit from the NBA. This is such a lazy, ignorant take.
The Pelicans could put out a G-League team for the entire season and she would still make a profit. Its actually harder for her to not turn a profit in this situation. Stop with the lazy takes.

Because someone is going to over her over $2B for the franchise and to move it.
$2B is much more than paltry profits for a poverty franchise that is very poorly run.
Even she has to realize that her charm isn’t enough to keep or attract star players as the few she has had bail on NOLA or are unprofessional like Zion.
She got carjacked in NOLA, what kind of city can’t protect its upper citizens?

Under, probably will settle around 3,500.

She’s not selling until after the expansion at the earliest

No they're not, this is just ignorant. She's sitting on a money printer. I get youre pissed about the franchise but this is really dumb to say.

2 - 3 Billion dollars is a lot of money for the Archdiocese . They can pay off those lawsuits .

Vegas thinks it’s a good price tag . They can afford it too.

I personally know five Day 1 season ticket holders that chose not to renew. It’s not worth it when the organization hasn’t shown any reason for fans to buy.

Under. This franchise has done basically everything wrong since the beginning of last offseason.

It’s worth is over $3b and will get $300-500m more after expansion. She’s not selling for someone to move it while she’s alive. It’s going to take someone or some group to come in and buy both teams and neither will be moved.

Who has that much money and Louisiana connections to where they wouldn’t move them? Todd Graves and who else?

I hope they sell 1,000 season tickets and move that shitty organization to Alaska. frick them all.

Regardless of Gayle’s wishes, contracts are broken all the time. We just aren’t a major league city anymore.
Getting the No 7 pick means a draft with no impact player to be had and season ticket sales should plummet as a result.
Eventually the team is gone, sooner much more likely with another anti business mayor like Oliver Thomas or Moreno coming.
