BELTON, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) – Parents in South Carolina are facing charges after police said their twin babies were found with rat bite marks on their bodies.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Akayla and Justin Bearden, both 24, were charged with two counts of unlawful conduct towards a child.
Deputies responded to the home in Belton when the mother called 911 on Friday morning to report that her 6-month-old child was covered in blood.
The sheriff’s office said a “large rat started eating the child.”
When they arrived, deputies said they found blood covering the baby girl and her bassinet. They said there were bite marks on the baby’s arms, back of the head, ears and face.

Put a bunch of small slices on these parents and then throw them in a pit full of rats for good. Having an 8 month old at home, I cannot even fathom. Blood boiling.

I’d like to dangle this man’s arms into an alligator pit just long enough for them to twist one of his arms off, then wait a little bit to do the other one

Do this to the parents

They seem like complete morons but at least they were smart enough to call 911.

I’ve lived around a lot of different types of trashy people all over the US, but the white trash here in Upstate SC is probably the most awful.

If you can’t take care of the children don’t have them.

Sounds awful but is that really a crime?

Csb time. When I was a baby we had a Norwegian rat problem in our house. Our exterminator told my mom to make sure I didn’t have any food or milk left on me when she put me down at night because the rats could eat my face off. She absolutely lost it.

Don't be sorry. The answer to your question is yes.

At times I am scared to death of becoming a father. And then I read stories like this that make me realize I’m gonna be alright at it.

More likely you're scared to death of the woman you're going to father the child with. "What do you mean you didn't mix the premium Swiss baby milk concentrate from the breasts of the finest maidens with alkali water? You are truly an uncaring monster!"

Rip looked different back then.
