Saw a dead cat on the top of the Crescent City Connection today.

Breaks my heart. The only way that cat ended up there was that a human made it happen. I can only imagine how terrified that animal was in the last few moments of its life.

Yesterday I saw a wasp on the wall. It didn't move when I walked by. When I walked by the same wall today it was on the ground, dead.

Yeah no. Walking the high interstate roads onto the crescent city connection is what a cat wants to do at night. Just looking for food and thrills.

I distinctly remember seeing non-pet roadkill up there before, maybe a raccoon but can't 100% remember, it's been years, yeah it's rare but it happens.
