Louisiana high school baseball semifinals

Sorry I couldn’t find the long thread, but I noticed the semifinal start today
I’m pulling for Barbe, but I don’t know if they have what it takes to get past Live Oak if they beat Sam Houston
Does anyone know why Barbe is playing at home for the semifinals?
I thought the 4 team tournament was always in Sulphur

semis are now best 2 out of 3 at the higher seeds field. finals are best 2 out of 3 in sulphur. thats for divisions 1,2 and 3.

Barbe is at full strength now and will be hard for anybody to beat in a 3 game series. Got a strong two headed monster going with their two lefty starters. You almost have to no-hit them to have a chance.

this is the first season with the new format. i like it from the fact that being best 2 out of 3 that the best team should win that way, but the atmosphere in sulphur with all the different teams in a win or go home game is no longer there.

Littleton and Miller are both on a hell of a run since District started. If someone takes game 1 or 2 off them they earned it. Interested to see who barbe would go to in a potential game 3 in either of the next two rounds

Division 4, Class B and Class C are single elimination. They play the semis and championship games in Sulphur starting Tuesday. All other divisions are 3 game championship series in Sulphur

I went to the NFHS site and answered my own question
. They are broadcasting Lutcher/North Desoto and Benton/Live Oak. They get my subscription money one month out the year so resubscribed today!

Chasten Taveras will have the Sam Houston/Barbe game on his FB page. He does a really good job broadcasting games.
