Isn't his attitude shite when things don't go his way? I'm sure that will get better in Dallas.

Steelers as an organization seem to try to make it impossible for their coaching to actually win.

Okay you trade Pickens... why didn't you move up to draft a high quality WR?

They do things that doesn't make sense if what you're trying to do is win a championship

Get him in a dome and on a team where he thinks he’s getting the respect he deserves and he might give you a couple REALLY good years.

I like the move for Dallas.

Or he will be a malcontent who destroys the locker room and costs the team games.

His history tells us he will crash and burn.

I give it 2 games before he throws a fit on the sideline bc Dak throws to CeeDee and not him

Pickens had a serious problem with professionalism. And by that, I mean that he acted like a 5 year old. Also, why move up to get a WR when you just traded for and paid DK Metcalf?

It would have been nice for them to have two elte WR's on the team, but Pickens wasn't going to get signed and the chice was going to be to run with him one more year, or trade him and get value. I guess we see what they thought of him.

It would be nice for them to have 2 NFL starting level WRs on the team. Currently they have Metcalf and absolutely nothing else

The last few years they seem completely unserious about actually contending and instead dead set on winning 9-10 games and losing in the first round by any means necessary

I understand trading Pickens but not get a second WR with Metcalf is negligent. They are going to be awful offensively yet again

Well it’s not like the Cowboys have much to lose

Impossible to dispute any of that. But hey, Mike will get his 9 wins and we can talk about that's supposed the be great. Also, do they think that getting Robert Woods was going to really help?

Hopefully they have inside knowledge of a competent WR that may be getting cut, a cap casualty or available when rosters get pared down after camp.

Maybe they heard from Rodgers that he's decided on retiring and they are just getting a start on gathering draft picks because this season may already be cooked. That said, anything with Rodgers either way is massive speculation at this point.

Yeah entirely possible. I am not a Steelers fan but frankly miss them being relevant, and they have the type of defense that can contend for a championship if they were willing to take some more risks in acquiring offensive talent

I'm a Steeler fan, or better, I'm from there so kind of born into it. From the looks of the draft and their other moves, it does look like they are going for reset and aggressively retooling. Offensive line was the focus last year and defense was a heavy focus this draft. Not sure how that's all going to work with some key pieces starting to age out, like Heyward, Watt and Fitzpatrick.

Looking at the local Pittsburgh media, they are all saying that organization has been pretty open that they moved him because of off the field issues, but aren't exactly saying that in public. Good luck with that, Dallas.

Yeah, considering what we’ve seen from Pickens I think it’s pretty likely that there are worse things he’s done we don’t know about. Dallas may not know either.

Show us his history of doing that in the NFL. What’s up with middle aged southerners making up little scenarios in their head everyday?
