The rehearsal season 2 ep. 3 is the craziest 30 minutes of TV I've ever seen

I know there is already a thread but I want to try to bring a little more attention to this series if anyone hasn't watched it or is on the fence about it. Nathan Fielder is a crazy genius. I've never seen anything like what he did in episode 3. You will be saying wtf the whole episode. Please be aware that his type of comedy isn't for everyone

Everyone tells me he’s the funniest guy alive, but I guess I just don’t get it.

It truly is incredible. I still think the series finale of Nathan for You is the best work he has ever done, but this was a close second. Guy is a comedic genius.

When he walked into the big room I loled for a minute straight

I don’t mean to disturb you… but you have a reserved sexuality about you.

Every week I think this is the wildest episode yet, and then it's topped the very next week. I can't believe how bad colin is at flirting.

The pack mentality opening scene..was laughing so fricking hard. It felt like some fever dream.
And holy shite getting those significant others of the actors and inviting them to come watch
diabolical and that brunette was hot and didn’t give a shite and then the other with the bra coming undone. Was half expecting one of them to go full on fricking because you know, acting and stuff.

The Colin kiss made me have to look away from the screen while it was happening

Colin is so cringe LOL. But once the pack started imitating him and repeating his words, I lost it.
Episode 4 was another banger.

The Colin pack is LOL funny. Fielders brain needs to be studied for science

Just making those guys watch their girlfriends go at it with another guy for absolutely no reason.

finally watched the new episode.
Colin might be more awkward in real life than Nathan. Some of those kissing scenes were so cringe. I almost had to close my eyes.
I love when someone is telling Nathan something that he finds interesting. Just the look on his face and his demeanor. Or when he is waiting for someone's reaction to something that he did for them. It is just so funny.
The pack mentality study was hilarious. How everyone copied everything that Colin did. Every movement, every word.
A couple of those actress chicks were willing to go as far as needed to get the job done. The poor boyfriends having to watch that. The actor dudes sure didn't seem to mind.

As awkward as he clearly is, I wonder if just being on camera made him 10 times worse. It honestly wouldn’t shock me if he never kissed a girl before, and if he hasn’t, I imagine the thought of his first kiss being on camera made it impossible for him to go through with it.

A "wet dream," but I was awake and wet.

On a related note, during the Paramount+ "Germany office" scene, I thought when the exec says, "Pretending you want feedback... look at you... pretending to be serious — this is not sincere." it was one of the more meta moments of the entire series.
I've gone through this entire thing quite unsure about what all is actually real, but I think it's ultimately like his other shows, in that at its core it's designed to get reactions out of unsuspecting participants. In this iteration, we just have trouble knowing exactly who those people are (like the guy taking a shower while he observed).

I mean it is a bit jarring how reclusive most of these pilots are. I always thought the majority of pilots were type A personalities. Guess not.

Yeah, good point.
Just like the charity clothing line he mentioned (as having raised millions), his concepts can be legitimate and certainly thought-provoking.
I guess his methodologies are the hook.

Was that Cullen Crisp from Kindergarten Cop as an actor on the transportation committee?

I don't know what to take serious and not to at this point. I think there is an underlying concern with communication training but his solution is bungled and maybe that's the point...
Dropping it in to a real world setting with a congressman not prove fruitful.
Again, the guy called him out for the bait and switch, which obviously rattled Nathan a bit I think.
At that point, it didn't matter what Nathan was selling. Guy didn't trust him and wasn't buying.
