Were we dying meat? I knew we were dying salmon and I would greatly appreciate being able to buy undyed salmon more easily.

Just good capitalism in dying meat for your consumers - rogerthetourguide

Because the shite is so over processed and farmed it doesn't resemble anything you'd find in nature.

I can't wait to see the number of mass shootings across this country decrease a significantly in 20 years after today's babies grow up with fewer mental health problems due to less poison in our food.

Wonder when they ban this crap?

Honestly had no idea we were dying meat. I knew about them injecting things into beef to help it keep it's color but didn't know they did the same thing for chicken.

Could you imagine being a cow who could talk and understand English?
You are injecting me with that for WHAT?

Yep, fortunately we don't buy a lot of beef from the store, but yea the steaks and stuff you buy at the supermarket has some wild stuff in it.

What's even funnier is when you go to a place like whole foods and they sell grass fed organic steaks but it has a two inch fat cap on it

Most beef on the shelf isn’t as red for real as it appears.
You can push some (I think) vitamin E to the cattle as they finish to make their meat more red but it’s not like what’s at the store.

Most of the red color in meat on the shelves is from carbon monoxide injection and nitrate injection into the meat during packaging.

Can RFK ask why are we putting these things in our foods in the first place?

The dies were in anything that was breaded.

As long as they combine this with institutionalizing the people that need it and then reducing the number of psychotropic drugs getting over prescribed.

This is going to make the people that think men can get pregnant very mad.

“Pink slime” is just meat separated from the fat that was previously wasted. It’s just 100/0 ground beef.
Guy who invented the machine to do it won a settlement for $177 million against ABC/Disney for calling it slime.

It’s not meat, it’s the prepared foods like chicken nugget breading.

Who decided that the public needs to see raw meat red? it was what it was, there was no need for it if people knew that's how it really was? We're being poisoned for aesthetics? WTF?
