The best kicker in history is on the market and probably won’t get signed. My question is why do all these places wait 5+ years to come out and accuse people of shite. He’s probably guilty as frick but in the off chance he isn’t then they just ruined a HOF career. Grupe had a good year last year so we won’t be the ones to sign him although I still think he’s an upgrade to Grupe even at this stage of his career but he’s like radioactive material, no one is going to touch him guilty or not.

coincidentally he had his worst year of his career this last go around. A lot like Watson they are both most likely done.

based off of what? Grupe wasn't a problem last year. I guess in 2023 he was but if you are kicking FG's in the redzone instead of scoring TD's more likely you are losing the game.

One bad year from a guy that’s been as close to automatic as you can ask someone to be still holds more weight than a young, although promising, kicker having a good year. If he goes out and makes 88% of his kicks again this year then I’ll be sold but I want to see Grupe do it again.

I'd rather see what Grupe has. Give him more time to see if he can get more consistent.

The Saints have one of the lowest win projection totals in the league. I don't see a real gain by adding Tucker to the roster. That's if he even gets serious offers. My bad for not keeping up with Tucker but what is he facing?

I agree, I’m not advocating for signing him. We aren’t a winning team. If he ever plays again i’m sure it will be with a contender.

a lot of good kickers fall off really really fast.

2024 stats:

Grupe

27/31 FGs (87.1%) 13th
4/4 <30
10/11 30-39
7/8 40-49
6/7 >50 (only miss from over 50 was a blocked 60 yard try)
long of 57
31/33 XP (93.9%) 20th

Tucker

22/30 FGs (73.3%) 30th
4/4 <30
7/7 30-39
5/8 40-49
6/11 >50
long of 56
60/62 XP (96.8%) 12th

Grupe isn't a great kicker but he doesn't have any off-field issues and is more reliable from over 40

Dude the “victims” have been quiet for close to 9 years. Regardless of whether he was a creep or not…. You don’t get to wait nearly a decade and then accuse people of stuff. This is retarded.

From what I’ve seen, more inappropriate behavior at massage parlors. Complaints if erections, ejaculates (don’t recall if he helped him self, or if he just came), touched a masseuse with his penis, made suggestive requests but don’t recall any intimidation complaints. Obviously nothing to the extent of what Watson had, but he’s being put in a similar category

He sucked last year dude. He would've got cut during the season for performance if he wasn’t Justin Tucker.

People talked about his mechanics, it's off and he's compensating differently which means his accuracy got tested - badly.

I don't think this is the yips, I think this is his kicking style meeting aging hips and legs.

Ah yes, Saints board, where men come to voice their disapproval of calling out sexual predators because too much time has gone by.

Promising Young Woman is a good movie for some of you to check out.

He was the 31st best kicker in the NFL last season. The Ravens also drafted a kick for 1/10 of his salary. That's why he got cut.

Yup. I watch my 18 yr old son kick and realize that no 28 yr old man can clear their hips that fast. You have to change your form as your body changes or you’ll either frick yourself up trying that or simply won’t be able to do it as accurately. Make that change in the pros though, don’t frick with it while it works.

Just think where Baltimore would've been all these years if they held to this philosophy. Tucker would be getting released by some other franchise right now. This is pure silliness on your part

Tulane’s true freshman kicker is the one to watch. Been a pleasure to see him mature…he’s better than anything LSU has.

Wait 5 years because he just had his worst year. Look the other way until it’s time to get rid of him.
